let’s skin ruby
she’ll hang head down
i want to see her organs
in her blood i’ll drown
let’s skin ruby
black market organs
process dark meat
for skin rack storage
let’s make ruby
into a tasteful floor mat
what’s the taste was
let’s not do that
wake up sleeping
feel like a baby
got no ideas
let’s skin ruby
Personally prefer the harder edge of earlier work but there's so much variation on here that it makes for probably their most enjoyable album to listen through, still rips front to back. LukeSpurs
Mannequin Pussy is classified commonly as pop-punk, but I really do think that, on Romantic at least, they tend to one or the other; that is, they either go full pop, or full punk, and rarely ever for that quintessential "pop-punk" sound. My favorite track, "Pledge", whiplashes between pleasing acoustic guitar-led passages and intense punk screams. Steven Moses

This album is truly a journey. An intimate portrait of what life looks like from the bottom. BRAT is the perfect name for this record as it embodies the feeling of denied satisfaction. On 'Semantics' NNADMI builds to a stunning climax that truly captures the essence BRAT; sneering cries and teary eyes. Other great tracks include opener "Flowers to My Demons" and the somber "Everyone I Loved." This is a can't miss record that deserves your full attention Clementine
